RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • As part of the EMEA C&B team, working with managers, HR and external pay and benefits consultants to identify reward strategies to enable the recruitment and retention of high calibre employees in the defined areas of responsibility through:
  • Identifying and developing appropriate sources of market intelligence on pay and benefits practices in the region/business areas
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of the external market reward trends through surveys and use of networks.
  • Implement the reward strategy using the appropriate processes and tools including the use of Oracle’s internal systems such as Compensation Workbench
  • Development and validation of salary planning tools such as salary grades and ranges
  • Providing training to management.
  • Provide data and data analysis, trends information and recommendations for Regional, EMEA, and Global management use.
  • Provide compensation and benefits expertise during merger and acquisition activity and recommending and executing a plan to integrate acquired employees’ terms of employment.
  • Consult the France Workers council for all C&B subjects regarding acquisition and changes.
  • Lead the C&B items in the Annual negotations with Unions

  • Lead the Social requirements as :

  • Bilan Social


  • Provide practical advice and guidance to HR Business Partners on the management of reward issues.


  • Develop and implement appropriate local benefits programmes to maintain competitive positioning within the overall strategic direction


  • Lead and/or participate in pan EMEA C&B/HR projects as required

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

 


  • Candidates should be self starters, self-managing, and results oriented with excellent communications skills as well as the confidence and credibility to influence senior management.
  • Fluency in French and English as a business language is essential.
  • Strong team player, adaptable and flexible, but resilient with the ability to work across cultures and regions.
  • Experience in operating in a complex employee relations environment would be helpful.
  • External Candidates: Ideally the candidate should be a graduate and have experience of working in a large complex multinational organisation as well as proven experience in compensation and benefits in an international context.
    Internal Candidates: A good working knowledge of Oracle’s business policies and organisation, gained from working in business operations or Finance/Tax/Compensation.


  • Some travel within the designated region will be required.
